1986 #
Tech Seed originated as the Taichung office of Tex Year Industrial Co., Ltd. The primary focus was on distributing hot melt adhesives, cyanoacrylate adhesives, AB adhesives, anaerobic adhesives, and other products manufactured by Tex Year. Additionally, the company imported select specialty adhesives and chemicals from the United States and Japan.
1994 #
Tech Seed Company was officially established as a subsidiary of Tex Year Group. The company continued to distribute Tex Year products, while also expanding its services to include application consulting and after-sales support.
1995 #
Building on its foundation in adhesives and specialty chemicals, Tech Seed broadened its portfolio to include industrial filtration materials such as filter cartridges, filter bags, and filter housings. This expansion enabled the company to offer more comprehensive solutions to its customers.
1998 #
A significant reorganization led to the formation of Tech Seed Enterprise Co., Ltd., marking its independence from Tex Year Group. To address increasing market demand, Tech Seed enhanced its sales of automatic marking systems—including dot matrix marking, laser marking, and inkjet printers. The company also began exporting its best-selling adhesives and filtration products internationally. Four major business departments were established, each focused on a core area: Adhesion, Filtration, Machinery, and Overseas Department.
2003 #
Tech Seed formed a production and sales partnership with Filtteck, then Taiwan’s sole manufacturer specializing in melt-blown and pleated filter cartridges. This collaboration strengthened Tech Seed’s position in the filtration market.
2009 #
The company became the exclusive distributor in Taiwan for Japan’s Chiko Airtec Co., providing compact dust collectors and related after-sales services.
2014 #
A marketing partnership was established with HOYA Corporation (Japan) to promote a comprehensive range of UV curing equipment in Taiwan, further diversifying Tech Seed’s technological offerings.
2016 #
The Chemical Materials Department was created to expand the range of industrial chemical products available. This department introduced fire-stop materials, industrial putty, mold release agents, and industrial cleaners to the company’s portfolio.
